Michigan’s Upper Peninsula

Michigan’s Upper Peninsula

Brad and I had an amazing time in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula as we crossed the famous Mackinac suspension bridge to Sault Ste. Marie, where we watched massive freighters pass through the Soo Locks from Lake Huron to Lake Superior (and vice versa). We also visited the Upper & Lower Tahquamenon Falls, explored Whitefish Point Lighthouse & Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum (with exhibit of the famous Edmund Fitzgerald), stayed at the Iroquois Hotel on Mackinac Island, and hiked the Sleeping Bear Dunes. It was definitely a trip to remember!!!
