Wedding Weekend

Wedding Weekend

This past Saturday we attended our friend’s children’s wedding celebrations in Kentucky. Aram & Autumn had a lovely outdoor wedding in Millersburg, Kentucky, and Nikara & Christian had their wedding reception at our church building in Georgetown, Kentucky.

Aram & Autumn

Aram and Autumn were married at Mustard Seed Hill, a historic landmark in the heart of the Bluegrass. Millersburg is such a quaint little town and it was the perfect day for an outdoor wedding!

Table with fans and streamers, and guest book to write the couple a little note.

Corn-hole and other games were available while delicious hors d’oeuvre and non-alcoholic beverages were served during cocktail hour.

Parents of the groom (and good friends of ours), Jamie and Debra having a deep conversation (they’re not mad, even though it looks like they are … I’ll blame that on the one taking the picture☺️ I just wanted a picture of them together since they both looked so stunning in their wedding attires).

This was supposed to be our table at the reception, but we had Nikara’s reception to attend so we skipped dinner and the other evening festivities. We are grateful however, for the opportunity to attend Aram and Autumn’s wedding, and we wish them all the joy life has to offer!

Nikara & Christian

After Aram & Autumn’s wedding, we drove back to Georgetown for Nikara & Christian’s reception!

I had Veronica take some pictures of Brad and I at the Georgetown Ward building since we kind of matched, and the sunset was so beautiful! Plus, rarely do I dress in cocktail casual for any occasion!😆 I want to thank Rex and Austin for being so patient as we attempted numerous times to get the perfect pose and lighting! And thank you Veronica for your expertise in photography!

Walking into the gym was such a welcoming site with Thoney’s (Nikara’s father) twinkling lights hanging from the ceiling. We used the same lights for all or our kid’s receptions!

Good friend Ana, and her Mother

It was nice meeting Christian for the first time, and his lovely Mother Annette, who was busily helping in the background.

I FaceTimed Merinda while Nikara & Christian were cutting the cake. Luckily Merinda was able to attend Nikara & Christian’s first reception in Idaho.

Nikara has always been such a good friend to Merinda, and it seems like just yesterday they were in Joy School together! We congratulate Nikara & Christian, and also wish for them a wonderful life together!
