We had a great Thanksgiving with Breck and Iris who came down from West Virginia for the week. They were also hoping to spend some time catching up with Aubrey and Raul but unfortunately Aubrey got Covid so they never got together in person. However, we still ate Thanksgiving dinner together via FaceTime (after dropping food off on Aubrey & Raul’s doorstep). After the meal, Breck set up Jackbox games so we could all play together while still FaceTiming. It’s times like these that I appreciate technology, especially having someone around who can figure it all out!

I love these pictures because the Thanksgiving meal is hot and all ready to eat, however, Brad and I are trying to get the perfect picture with Mancha on our laps! Poor Breck and Iris, they were so quiet and patient while Brad and I messed around with Mancha as the food was steadily getting colder (what good kids!).

The rest of the week was pretty chill. Unfortunately Breck had to work every day but Thanksgiving, so Iris taught herself how to needlepoint, as we binged-watched Little House on the Prairie, and played with Mancha (of course). The last pictures are of Mancha patiently waiting for a treat from her Momma…how can one resist that cute little face?!

Don’t let the outfit fool you, Mancha was all about eat, sleep, and play!!! Again, waiting so patiently for someone to come play with her and her new toy (which Brad bought for her btw).

Mancha did have a way of tugging at our heartstrings, especially when she would wait at our bedroom door after we had gone to bed. It melted our hearts so we just had to let her in our room (and yes, on our bed) but just long enough to say goodnight one more time!

Okay, maybe Mancha did take a nap every now-and-again…but only under the right circumstances!😆

We want to thank Breck and Iris for driving all the way from West Virginia to spend the week of Thanksgiving with us. The next time we see these guys, it won’t be all about Mancha anymore, she’ll have to share the limelight with baby Camila! And I have a feeling Camila will give Mancha a run for her money!😅
